Photochromic Dyes

Photochromic dyes, also known as Photosensitive dyes, are a type of organic compound dye that appears as white crystalline powder. In their crystalline state, the molecules are non-reactive; however, they exhibit color-changing properties when dissolved in solvents or polymers and exposed to sunlight or ultraviolet radiation.

Ranbar’s high-transparency photochromic dyes are characterized by vibrant coloration, high photosensitivity, and minimal required dosage. They can dissolve in resins, achieving complete transparency in the system, and effectively ensuring the transparency of molded products. These dyes find wide applications in industries such as plastics, coatings, and inks.
