Ranbar FP127 Fluorescent Brightener Powder

Ranbar FP-127 is a highly efficient plastic fluorescent brightener known for its low usage, excellent whitening effects, good heat resistance, lightfastness, and resistance to yellowing and fading during prolonged storage. It exhibits favorable compatibility with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and polystyrene (PS), delivering exceptional whitening effects for various plastics and plastic products, including acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS). However, its weather resistance in polyethylene (PE) is limited. When dissolved in organic solvents, it exhibits a maximum absorption wavelength at 368nm and a maximum emission wavelength at 436nm.

 

Product Application:
Ranbar FP-127 plastic fluorescent brightener exhibits excellent compatibility with various plastics, including PVC, PS, ABS, TPR, and more. It is particularly well-suited for whitening plastic products made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and polypropylene (PP). The fluorescent brightener also delivers outstanding whitening and brightening effects for artificial leather products and EVA materials used in the soles of athletic shoes. This brightener can be added to monomers or pre-polymer materials before, during, or after polymerization, whether it be through polymerization, condensation, or addition polymerization processes. It can also be applied in powder or granular form before or during the molding of plastics and synthetic fibers.

Recommended Dosage: The dosage depends on the brightness requirements.

  • PVC:
    White: 0.01–0.05% (10–50g/100kg material)
    Transparent: 0.0001–0.001% (0.1–1g/100kg material)
  • PS:
    White: 0.001% (1g/100kg material)
    Transparent: 0.0001–0.001% (0.1–1g/100kg material)
  • ABS:
    0.01–0.05% (10–50g/100kg material)
  • Other Plastics: It also demonstrates excellent whitening effects on other thermoplastic plastics, acetate fibers, polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), and polyester (PET) slices.

Note: The percentages are based on the weight of the material.

 

Packing and storage:
Ranbar FP127 Plastic Fluorescent Brightener is packaged in a 25KG paper bag and should be stored in a cool, dry place away from light.
