Ranbar Violet WS6020 is a colorless-to-purple heat activated powder created using microcapsule coating technology, encapsulating invisible materials, color formers, and temperature-controlling agents. By selecting different temperature-controlling materials, it can be formulated into heat activated powders that change color within various temperature ranges.

Ranbar heat activated powder has a powdery appearance with particle sizes ranging from 1 to 10 μm. It is virtually free of bisphenol A and exhibits excellent temperature resistance and antioxidant properties. The product can undergo repeated color changes with fluctuations in temperature.

 

Ranbar Heat Activated Powder Application:

Ranbar Heat Activated Powder is primarily utilized for products that undergo color changes in both high and low-temperature environments. It finds extensive applications in various fields such as plastics, coatings, and printing inks. Examples include various plastic injection and extrusion products, color-changing ceramic cups, a variety of gifts, promotional items, children’s toys, heat transfer decals, textile printing and dyeing, as well as color-changing apparel.

 

Ranbar Heat Activated Powder Application Cases

 

Dosage of Heat Activated Powder:

It is recommended to use 0.5% to 2% heat activated powder for resin, plastic castings, or other thick products. If the product material is already colored, up to 2.5% heat activated powder should be used. Note that titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, carbon black, flame retardants, or other plastic fillers can override the color of heat activated powder. For printing inks and paints, an addition of 8-12% is recommended.

 

Heat Activated Powder Storage:

Heat activated powder is not UV resistant and should be stored out of direct sunlight, preferably in a dark place. heat activated powder should be stored at temperatures a few degrees below the color change temperature.
