Product Description:
Ranbar Pink SW1220 is an innovative pink temperature activated powder pigment based on microcapsule technology. The microcapsules contain invisible dyes, color developers, solvents, and temperature regulators, with an average particle size ranging from approximately 3 to 12 micrometers. By selecting different temperature control factor materials, temperature-activated powder pigments that change color within various temperature intervals can be produced.

Ranbar Temperature Activated Pigment Powder

temperature activated powder pigment are a special type of colorant that requires a certain temperature to change color and can change color repeatedly as the temperature rises and falls. When the temperature reaches the specified temperature, it will change color, when the temperature is lower than the specified temperature, the color will change back to the original color. The temperature range of the color change is 0-70℃, and we also support customized color change temperature values.

There are many kinds of colors of temperature activated powder pigments, and the temperature range of color change can be adjusted. Different series of thermochromic pigments can also be matched with each other and put together, so that more colorful colors can be obtained, thus creating gorgeous products with various colors and color change under different temperatures.

By mixing temperature activated powder pigments of different colors in certain proportions, various colors can be obtained, as shown in the following diagram:

Temperature activated powder pigments application:

Temperature activated powder pigments offer versatile applications across various industries, enhancing the visual appeal of products through their color-changing properties.

  • Plastic Applications: Suitable for injection molding and extrusion of transparent or semi-transparent plastics such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS), soft polyvinyl chloride (S-PVC), AS, ABS, etc. It can also be mixed into unsaturated polyester, epoxy resin, organic glass, or nylon monomers for casting, molding, and curing.
  • Coating Applications: Applicable to surface coatings of various plastic products, including ABS, PE, PP, PS, PVC, EVA, and other plastic materials.
  • Ink Applications: Suitable for various types of printing, including screen printing, gravure printing, and flexographic printing, applicable to various materials such as textiles, paper, synthetic films, glass, ceramics, and wood.

Usage Guidelines:
The use of temperature activated powder pigments is simple; just add the pigment to a transparent base and mix thoroughly. It’s important to note that mixing generates heat, which may temporarily alter the color of the mixture. It is recommended to start with a small amount of temperature activated powder pigment and gradually add more until the desired color is achieved. The suggested ratio is 1 part pigment to 20 parts base material.
